1. Bookings & Deposits

  • All new customers must pay a non-refundable deposit of £10–£20 to secure a booking.

  • Ceramic coating services require a £50 non-refundable deposit.

  • A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • Deposits are deducted from the final balance.

2. Cancellation Policy

Maintenance Clients

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price.

New Customers

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will result in loss of deposit.

Same-Day Cancellations

  • Same-day cancellations will incur an additional £20 charge.

  • If this charge is not paid, the customer will be blacklisted and refused future bookings.

3. Non-Payment

  • Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the service (same day).

  • Failure to pay the remaining balance will result in:

    • Immediate blacklisting

    • Refusal of all future services

4. Vehicle Condition & Additional Charges

Customers must accurately describe the condition of the vehicle at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to increase the quoted price if the vehicle is in significantly worse condition than described, including but not limited to:

  • Excessive dog hair

  • Severe staining or heavy soiling

  • Mould contamination

  • Biohazards (vomit, bodily fluids, waste)

  • Excessive sand, mud, or neglect

Additional charges will be discussed before work continues.

5. Weather Policy

As a mobile valeting service, we reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions.

  • This decision may be made on the morning of the booking.

  • If we cancel and the client chooses not to rearrange, a refund of the deposit will be provided.

6. Liability Disclaimer

Gosforth Elite Valeting takes every reasonable care to protect vehicles, personal belongings, and valuables throughout the service.

However, we cannot accept liability for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Mechanical or electrical failures

  • Wear and tear

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle

Customers are advised to remove all valuables prior to the appointment.

7. Pricing & Service Rights

  • All prices are subject to vehicle size and condition.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle presents health risks or unsafe working conditions.

  • We are entitled to revise pricing where a vehicle is substantially misrepresented at booking.
